My coworker Melissa and I are nurses at a very rural west Tennessee hospital. Some years ago Melissa suddenly and tragically lost her husband. Melissa recently remarried. She moved into her new husband's 3rd generation family home. While straightening her new nest she discovered a treasure trove of old jewelry from her husband's mother and grandmother. She mentioned to me they were going to throw it all in the ditch behind the cow pasture. 😳😩. After much talk I convinced Melissa to convince her husband not to throw these treasures in the ditch.
