Remote Power Plug Switches
These are a great idea, they allow you to make an electrical item remotely capable. My parents have a spa and built their own bubbler and water jet system, they use this model to remotely start the bubble and/or jets. I use them for my air conditioner and for a pedestal fan. You can use them for say a reading light, or any device where the switch is hard to get too, a device that does not need to be on all the time, but having it remotely able to be turned on and off is convenient.
Pros: Makes it easy to turn electrical items on or off, the button on the sensor is an on / off switch if the remotes battery is dead.
Cons: Sensor is quite large (12.8 Cm tall), but that is a fairly minor quibble.
In all a very handy idea.

Experimental fun
1 of 1 found this helpful I got several of these to experiment with lasers, I have red, green, and purple/blue lasers.
Particular wavelengths of light have different energy levels, red lowest, green middle, and purple highest. Only the purple laser will energise the globes, and only where the laser hit. It is a bit of fun drawing faces on the globes.

A bit of fun
I got 4 of these to experiment with.
I have 3 different colored laser pointers red, green, and purple/blue, seems they will move if green laser is shone on the Solar panel. I expected this as solar panels work best with the green part of the spectrum of light.
I think my nephew and niece will like these as well.
