So far very pleased

This lens arrived promptly and was well wrapped. Wanted this lens on my EOS M6 and so far it has been good. It has no IS so a very steady grip is needed especially as this is a big lens on a small camera. I have used a tripod to take bird photos in garden- so far most have been sharp- the optics on this lens are pretty good.Everything that should work does- you have a switch on the lens to use MF and all functions work. So far I am very pleased. Remember you need an adaptor to connect this EF lens to Canon's M range of cameras.

Good performance and affordable

The contents of the package were as described with the loop, the amplifier box and bias tee box plus a long length of (thin) coaxial cable. This antenna is cheap for a magnetic loop type but it seems to work very well on 0.1-30 mHz. Depending on your receiver's antennae terminals you may need an adapter as the MLA terminals are SMA type. Power is supplied to the bias tee via a USB connector cable. It is fairly easy to put together but there is no guidance on how to fix it all together on a mast if that is your preference. I have used a 6" stand off bracket plus about 4 feet of 32mm plastic plumbing waste pipe which should work OK. There are videos on YouTube that are quite helpful. Overall very pleased as the antenna cost c £35, (similar designs from the USA for instance run into hundreds) and thus for the price and relatively good performance (according to external reviews) this aerial is a good buy for a beginner to short wave radio listening and my early experience is very positive also. This aerial is for receiving only, DO NOT connect to a transmitter..
