Perfect title got me hooked with "in Paris" !
1 of 1 found this helpful David Lebovitz is not only a great chef but writes with great humor in a "tell it like it is" manner. Love this book not just because it's about Paris and making desserts ~ which is why I bought it in the first place ~ but because he tells great stories about life in Paris that gives us an interesting picture of his adopted city. Not only is he funny but he includes recipes with each chapter, most of which are on my list of "get to ASAP". I told all my friends about the book and read paragraphs to them. I've sent it on to one girl friend in Ohio who is going to pass it on to another girlfriend in CA. Meanwhile I've bought myself another copy, LOL!
