Great Budget Gaming PC
2 of 2 found this helpful The Ivy-Bridge series from Intel still performs well to this day, outdoing my modern Athlon 880K in most, if not all games tested(~20 Frames). Sandy bridge can OC higher but featureset-wise your missing out on Sata3 PCIe3 and possibly USB3, which should nothurt too much if you're not using an SSD. Windows 10 support is OK, though I had to manually install a few drivers available on MSI. I would look no further than Ivy Bridge, as they are the oldest, "modern" tech. Board looks great! I wish MSI still carried this aesthetic, they seem to put RGB and dragons on everything now.
The product arrived really well packaged, and earlier than expected, No defects so far. If you want to get into gaming cheaply, buy used (I made that mistake), there is no better bang for buck, but I would stay away from OC'ing, you don't know what it's been through. That's why I would stay away from older I5's and older AMD CPUs as they are hard to justify unless you OC them.
IDK what else to say, first review
