Excellent real Pyrex(R) beaker. Buy US or EU made Pyrex not the stuff from China.

Leica 50mm/1.4 advantages
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this lens for several reasons: Leica optical and build quality, small size, and 1.4 aperture.
I use a Leica SL with the relatively new L lens mount. The beauty is the ability to adapt M lenses to this modern camera design with its EVF (electronic viewfinder). The SL lenses provide medium format quality on the SL but are a bit heavy and larger. For most of the time they are fine for me but when I want to carry the camera as a smaller package this 50/1.4 ASPH is great. The 1.4 allows low light images in town or at dusk. perfect for travel. I can carry the camera to dinner or the theatre or for an evening walk without the camera getting in the way and yet still have a full frame Leica experience and images with the quality of M lenses.
