Kodak DC 5000 Camera
1 of 1 found this helpful This camera is one of the best that Kodak ever produced. It is a water resistant camera that works. While working for the NYSDOT as a bridge inspector, I dropped one of these cameras into a river. I retrieved the camera and laid it in the sun on the dash of our van, left it there for 3 or 4 days and then startred using the camera again. It performed flawlessly even after spending time in the water. I have since retired from Bridge work and now presently investigate fires and still use the Kodak DC 5000 camera. After retirement, I purchased two of these cameras through ebay and have been using them ever since. The pictures are great and very detailed from both of them. I highly recommend the Kodak DC 5000 camera for the beginning amateur or the professional photographer, they are still the best water resistant cameras out there.
