Awesome Lens!!! Great value for the money.
Unbelievable picture quality that you get for the price of this much need lens. If you bought a package that includes the regular kit lens, you owe it to yourself to pick this one up next. You wont find one anywhere near this price with the same functionality. I used it on a video shoot after playing with it out of the box. DOF is everything with videos, and this lens gives you exactly what you want. You can blow out the background leaving your subject in total focus. Next attempt will be in a low light setting, but from what I have seen so far I am sure this lens will more than hold its own against more expensive lenses.

A lot of bang for the buck.
Great lens. That's all I can really say. Picture is sharp and clear. Colors are vivid. Depth of field is great. Already had the 50mm, but wanted a little more and this lens gave it. You will get a good cinematic look with this lens. Can't beat the price as well.

Pretty good lapel mics.
Good lapel mic. Clear sound, used with an H1. Be aware that this is a mono channel mic, which is not shown or told anywhere it seems like. Will add an extra step to your post production since you have to duplicate the audio and pan it for the missing channel. No biggie though. Easy to use, portable, and with a H1 you have a portable sound recording system for short films, movies, and commercials. I would purchase a stereo lapel next time though.
