State of the art then and now.
Newer cameras have more bell and whistles, and if you are going to use a large format display newer is better. But, if all you need is a quality picture for a laptop or smaller display and the simplicity of a USB connection, these once "State of the Art" cameras will do just fine

Good buy
So far it appears to be working as well as the original that came with the computer. Unfortunately it died. I purchased another OEM adapter, and in about 6 months it also died. If I get more than 6 months out of this aftermarket adapter I will be ahead.
