Oldie but goodie
1 of 1 found this helpful Somewhat dated but still useful. Make sure you follow the directions for updating the firmware very closely. The UI in the old firmware is junk, the newest one is better. You may have to use an old version of Firefox to access it without errors. The fans are quite loud which is to be expected. Though they are quieter than the non-POE switch from Netgear that I have. 4/5 fans are powered by 5.3V meaning replacing the fans with quieter ones is harder. I cut a vent into the back left corner of this switch for mounting a larger, quieter fan and using the lone 12V fan header.
