good value

aperture ring disassembly and AI adaptation and reassembly quite easy, well built lens, the hood is a big plus, f2,8 is brilliant, especially when used with the teleconverter. The Kenko TC doubles up as an extension tube (you can take the glass out), which I didn't know and it's great to have. The picture is stopped down quite a bit, shot on TriX film, with the Nikkor

Does what it's supposed to do

Infinity focus without any problems, lens mount a little tough, but stay in one place. The f-stop ring sometimes behaves a little strange and is not as smooth as most lenses, but it gets the job done. Sturdy, not afraid of it getting broken
