Another reprint of an older book by E. C. Tubb
Not his best effort. The plot was somewhat disappointing and the ending seemed rushed. Still enjoyable for his distinct style. Secret of the Towers was first published as The Tormented City in 1953. E. C. Tubb used different pen names and many of his books were published later under different titles, adding even more confusion to his bibliography.

Sequels often fail to meet the expectations, is it another case?
Rendezvous with Rama was great. This one started with a similar feeling but along the way evolved in a different direction as Lee's style took over. Still a pretty good read but not sure if I want to continue with this series.

Good old Laumer
An old fashioned sci-fi story, must-read for all Keith Laumer fans. A good start if you haven't read his other works.
