beautiful rug
thick, heavy, plush to walk on, vivid gorgeous colors. it does shed but I expect that from a new rug. I love it!

Go for it! You won't be disapointed!
1 of 1 found this helpful I love immersion blenders. I cook a LOT and feed everyone around me in the neighborhood and at work. I have gone thru 3 or 4 over the years and heard about the Bamix. Not wanting to spend $100. or more to see if i really liked it, i bought a used one that is definitely an older (70's from the look and color brown and beige I would guess)model that had been taken care of. It came with 3 different blades, a small chopper that i use to grate small amounts of cheese, a medium size container used for blending and a stand to hold the whole kit and kaboodle.
It feels beefy, it has some weight to it. I would imagine that the newer ones are lighter but maybe not.
The first time i used it it sounded like it wasn't doing much. It is quite quiet in compairson to some of the others i have owned. The way the blade is designed does a much better job at pureeing soups on either speed. The blade looks nothing like what is on other blenders, this one looks vicious. I have used the blending blade for salad dressings, marinades and to whip cream and it does an awesome job. The last blade looks like a milk shake blender blade. I have not found a use for it yet but i'm sure i will. Overall, I am quite happy with my purchase, I paid $49.00 and would definitely spend $100.00 or better for a new one. I like that it has a slow speed and high. Not everything needs to be pulverized.
I know that there are plenty of these that are in attics and basements, never taken out of their boxes. Hopefully they will find their way to e-bay and others can give them a try.
Quiet, well engineered piece of equipment. If you love to cook and spend much of your free time in the kitchen,Go for It! You will not be disapointed.

Colors are very nice, but not worth the money.
I eyed this liner at the ulta store. The Urban Decay colors are very nice. I think a full size liner go's for $18.
I definitely would not pay full price for one.
It does not last any longer, it go's on somewhat easier, it is a soft pencil and is a bit transparent. I bought a half size for $6. and would buy another one at the same price or lower, but would not pay more than $10-$12 for a full size stick and would likely try another brand.
