WORKED GREAT!
This little giant did a great job. I had to drain a ugly, algae-ridden, scummy pond. It pumped out about 3.5 cubic yards of water (based on the amount of dirt I needed to fill the pond). It drained that water in about 40 minutes with a couple stops made by me in between. It left about 2 inches of water/scum in the bottom of the pond. I you need to pump water fast, this is your tool! Tip: The float must be kept upright for the pump to work properly. Once our water level got down below the top of the pump, it would stop working. We figured out how to prop the float up higher than the top of the pump and it began working fine again.
