Simple, Effective, and Inexpensive
2 of 2 found this helpful PRO's :
Nice Bright Display
Very Affordable
Easy to install
CON's :
Existing cable length is satisfactory for many applications, but twice the length would be far more versatile.
Wiring Instructions would be nice!!! (I had to locate instructions elsewhere on the web).
No one tells you that the system is Polarity Sensitive in regard to the Magnet installation. (Magnet must be installed with the correct side facing the sensor, or it will simply display "0" RPM at all speeds) Common knowledge for many, but not all, so it should be mentioned.
Protective coating for circuitry on the back would be nice.

Works well at Min. RPM
VERY TALLl for a 1/2" bit, but as long as you keep your RPM set to bare minimum, it will get the job done safely and without to much deflection. Attempting to use this bit on a standard router with no speed control would be dangerous at best, however.

Just what I needed
Used this one to add power side mirrors to old my dodge truck... Had to make up my own wiring harness, but the controller was fully functional, and worked like a charm!
