Bought this for my 2022 Toyota Corolla S...
Bought this for my 2022 Toyota Corolla SE and took it to a local business that specializes in vehicle keys.
It turned out that the chip inside the key was in fact, not compatible with my vehicle, so I ended up having to pay $60 extra (on top of price for cutting blade + programming) to swap out the chip that came with the key with one that would be compatible. On top of that, the chip was literally cemented into the key with superglue, making it twice as difficult to swap for the compatible chip.
Otherwise the key does appear to be an OEM Toyota Key and has obvious signs of wear, scratches, as expected. After paying extra for the chip swap, I was able to get the blade cut for my vehicle and the key programmed and now it works as expected. I would be wary of purchasing this for a 2022 Corolla, as it seems it may not actually be compatible.
