Modifiable double chamber vacuum element
1 of 1 found this helpful These can be modified to replace all other NLA double chamber vacuum pods. The linkage can be exchanged with the old one (flat style) and the black end cap unclipped and rotated to the desired angle (carefully, at your own risk) i fit 2 of these in my w124 where both are now NLA. On the left side you dont even have to touch the black cap you just swap the linkage. On the right side you rotate the black cap AND swap the linkage. Problems have solutions you just have to get creative. This is well documented online on benzworld and 500e board.

Good heater
Starting and stopping should be done either outdoors or under a running exhaust fan, thats when the smell is generated. Otherwise odourless and runs for hours and warms a large area as expected. Wish there was a cheaper source of kerosene though. $65 per 20L can is only cheap for me as my other alternative is a 14kw ducted system which costs a bomb to run.

Heartbreaking disapointment.
This phone lasted 2 weeks before it started with the very common issue of constant rebooting and crashing while doing the most basic tasks. I had done everything reasonably expected of a consumer, i had updated the phone, factory reset & restored, at the end of the day i sent it back to the seller for a refund.
While a beautiful phone in appearance and to use when it works, i will never buy another. Nokia has really lost the plot in manufacturing quality control and i feel deeply sadend because of this, im now forced to follow the other sheep and purchas an iDevice or android phone through no fault of my own.
Nokia claims theres a problem with a small percentage of n8's i firmly beleive theres s problem with ALL n8's and it just a matter of time before they surface.
