Center Channel Speaker for Ham Radio!

I needed a good speaker for my Kenwood TS-590 transceiver. I figured that center channel speakers are designed for the dialog of movies and tv, so it should work well for my Ham Radio. I paired the speaker to a decent little amp I found on Amazon(2 X 100Watt Class-D Audio Amplifier Starter - TDA7498 by Sure Electronics) The audio quality is surprisingly good! Ham radios have a pretty narrow transmit bandwidth on ssb, so you are not getting the full range the speaker is capable of. I plugged my IPhone in to the amp and the music sounds very good for a single speaker! Overall I am very happy with my decision to buy this speaker and the price was very good also! 73

Valuable tool to have

This is the first time I have used a meter of this type so I can't compare it to anything else,but it was dead simple to use and got the job done. I needed it to help me build a coil antenna where I needed to know the inductance of a coil and also the capacitance of a variable capacitor to determine wire length needed for the frequency of interest. This is a handy little meter to have if you are into electronics at all. You can't beat the value of this meter! - unless you can afford much more expensive Vector Network Analyzers. The build quality is good and the unit feels solid I would definitely recommend to any electronics or radio hobbyist to have this on hand.
