Nothing Like Vintage
I made this exact kit 30+ years ago for a member of my family--I think this one was for my pets. I made differerent ones for my two small children. To make a long story short, during one our many moves, three stockings were lost. My children's were not lost, but my son, now 35 with a new born baby, asked me if I would do this one for his son. I could do a newer design or make a quilted one, but frankly, there is nothing that compares to these vintage designs. They are fabulous! The amount of detail and quality in design have never been repeated in my opinion. Yes they are costly, but I also remember as a young college student, they were pricey for me then. And obviously, my children loved them so much, they want grandma to make them for their children. I am so happy someone saved some of these kits!
