An interesting comment on some Australian literature of the mid 20th Century.
This book looks back on literary ife in the 50s, a time when Australian literature was flowering due to the maturing of the young writers of the 1920s who were born at the turn of the Centur as opposed to that huge cohort that were of Henry Lawson's generation.

A very readable book.
Very readable, though a few factual errors, not major. Index is a bit on the light side.
