Lock erodes and breaks within 1yr
Very very disappointed in this fuel door. Comes with a 1yr warranty for a reason…the tumbler locking mechanism erodes after a year and a month. I waited to make this review because I just cleaned out the pitting from the lock a few times and got it to work but it’s gotten to the point where it is unrepairable and of course the warranty on it is up. For $200+ I would expect a much longer life out of it. So what, I should buy a $200 fuel door every year? Garbage, overpriced product. Would also be nice if you could have the option of locking it or not, but if you don’t lock it, it swings open around every corner. Absolutely not worth the money.
