Motor was intact and worked when dc power was applied. Great replacement motor for old IHC HO Steam locomotives, max speed is reasonable and has a lot of torque for its size.

Motors were sealed new and all motors worked on DC power. To any modeler looking to repower Athearn or Proto 2Ks I would suggest using these motors; this motor pulls 1 amp on stall current at 12 volts, and has a hex coupler flywheels and creeps very well.
