Better and bigger than the 2100, but same voice.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this to upgrade my Navigon 2100. It is basically the same as the 2100 as far as software and the text-to-speech voice. The same pronunciation problems are on the 7100. But the 7100 is bigger and the screen size makes a difference, I also like the window mount a lot better than the one that came with the 2100. The touch screen is not good at all unless you use your fingernail or the stylus (but in a world with iPhones, that is not a fair comparison.) The device does seem quicker than the 2100 and I just love the way the Navigon does GPS versus any of those other companies. That is why I bought this second hand versus spending the same cash on a new one. I would recommend this to anyone who like the Navigon software. Also do yourself a favor if you live in a city with high housing developments and buy the FreshMaps service for $50. The updated maps are worth it if you have a job that requires a lot of driving like mine.
