Power requirements are difficult to meet
The required power is too much for the system I want to use it in. It won't power up with the card installed.

"Great value, great performance."
I didn't realize the chassis would be shipped with processors installed. I bought my own slightly better CPU's.
Now I have 40 cores total with 80 threads! 256GB main memory!
Had some trouble picking memory that was compatible. Watch for the speed parameter in the memory description and look for compatibility with the T7920. I got Crucial 8G sticks that proved the whole system was OK before committing to a larger purchase. there are good values on eBay.
There are built-in diagnostics you can run once you get to the "F12" menu.
The NVidia display card worked! just had to get a mini-display to HDMI adapter cable.
I found the 4 drive bay was disconnected from the MB -- the cable looked like it went somewhere but it was just tucked under the MB. Pulled it out from hiding & plugged it in. Before that I was getting an error that no boot drives where detected. There is a bios setting to keep booting passed warnings and errors so you don't get stuck there at that error screen.
Booting is slow though. Gotta be patient.
I'm adding the Dell "high speed" PCIe NVme carrier... I expect it speed up booting.
Didn't get enough of the little blue widgets required to put drives into the carriers. I recommend getting extra carriers to be able to swap in other drives without going through the strange insertion mechanism: you have to bend the drive carriers almost to breaking to get drives into the carrier. The carrier inserts for the 2.5 drives are a little weird to get into position, too.
Looking at the chassis from the front, the 0th bay is lower left, 1 is lower right, 2 is upper left, 3 is upper right ...

Higher power operation requires 230V house power
I didn't realize that the higher power output that I wanted required a 230V power input. Until I can arrange for that power, I won't be able to actually try it.
I can't try it for its lower power mode either as the power input plug is for 230V.
