Worked well, good for the price, but not perfect.
The tool set worked perfectly. However it is technically missing two tools that the official BMW kit would include. Those are the hold downs for the camshaft holders. The blocks that hold the camshafts in the zero position have nothing to prevent them from popping off. So, on each side, I used an old brake pad with a hole drilled through it, put over the top of the camshaft holder tool, and bolted it onto one of the camshaft bearing caps. It worked to hold the tools down flush with the top of the cylinder heads, but if I use this again, I'll make something to hold it down flush, AND prevent the tool from sliding backwards.
That being said, there isn't a whole lot of force applied to them if you're careful, so those things are not strictly necessary. And you can improvise something if you need to.
The 'socket' for the VVT adjustment units worked, but the pins were bent when I was done. It does take a bit of force to hold those, though. The socket for the VVT solenoids did not fit over the solenoids, which is not a problem if you're doing the timing chain and have the covers off, you can just use an adjustable wrench.
I would like to say, you need the service procedures to do this timing job, it's not simple by any measure. It's also literally impossible to do the job without this tool kit. In conclusion, this kit is a good substitute for the expensive BMW kit, and you can easily add the price of the tool to the customer's bill, because it's about a 24 hour job by book time!

Fits 92 Roadmaster
Used on a 1992 Buick Roadmaster. Not exact match to the original brackets, but they fit. Might even be better than original, as they have the lips on the sides to prevent the bushing from sliding out of the side.
