Yes and no
These do give a decent even light, the main beam function works well. Much better than a standard lense lamp. More even with a batter range. BUT, Do Not, Under Any Circumstances, trial fit these. Once you tighten the alloy nut it distorts, you get one go at it, that’s it. So, do all your measuring and trimming of whatever you’re fitting these to, then line it all up by eye with whatever spacers required. No thread lock is required, once that alloy nut it tightened it tears the threads. It’s not coming loose.

This thing is great! Fits really well, it’s not too obtrusive, doesn’t scream car with a cover. It’s certainly waterproof, as a torrential downpour proved. Locked in place by both the boot lid and the bonnet, so really could be used in a car park if your hood is leaky. The magnets are strong enough to hold the sides in place and the Velcro tabs allow it to fit round the mirrors properly. All in all, very pleased indeed.

Fantstic
Used these for over a year now and they're just brilliant. The most used 2 have a few marks on them now, still perfectly useable, even though I've been using them in 3mm steel, which is not recommended. Use plenty of oil and take your time and the results are well worth it. As it says in the blurb, they will work with just a nut and bolt. Use a hardened washer to prevent marking the die. Work great with one of the cheap hydraulic hole punches, don't over tighten, or you'll strip the drawbar.
