sonic cd for sega cd
1 of 1 found this helpful anyone who knows anything about the sega genesis, knows what an awesome franchise sonic was. sonic cd is no exception and is the only sonic the hedgehog title for the sega cd. playing the game you will enjoy full cd quality music, the music in sonic games has always been a strong point and the music in sonic cd is just what you'd expect. the ability to continue a previously unfinished game comes in handy when you dont have time to finish the entire game in one sitting. also sonic cd introduced a new concept in the sonic universe, time travel. with past, present, and future variants of each of the levels there's tons to explore with unique music for each time period. the boss battles are fairly easy compared to other sonic games. there's also an original animation in the opening of the game which is really cool! all in all sonic cd is one of the funnest games you'll ever play on the sega cd and no game collection would be complete without it.

valis 3 for sega genesis
1 of 1 found this helpful i just love this game. it starts out with alot of diolauge but the cutscenes are cool and even feature some animation. you start out as a girl in her PJs running across a rooftop after some girl in a cosplay getup who gets taken away by some big caped guy that drops a sword. she jumps off the roof after the sword (in a fully animated cutscene!) and retrieves the sword. upon grabbing the sword she transforms from her PJs into a sexy suit of armor wielding the valis sword which has a sonic wave like effect thats range can be extended with special powerups. throughout the game you get the opportunity to play as other characters with thier own special abilities too. you have the option of using magical attacks that you find inside these floating ball things you break open. you also charge your magic with powerups you get from those things. boos battles are cool and are just the right difficulty. hard enough to be challenging without making you cry. i know im not a writer and what i just discribed probably sounds totaly crazy and is horribly misspelled but you must try this game its lots of fun!

silpheed for sega cd
silpheed is a shooter for sega cd where you pilot the SA-77 "Silpheed" Tactical Fighter Spacecraft. the game sports some impressive polygons (yes POLYGONS!) for its time with mind blowing cut scenes and full 3D backgrounds. the music is cool and does a good job of following whats happening on screen. its also in full cd sound quality. you only have one life in silpheed and if you die the game ends but your ship does have shields that can withstand a decent amount of damage and can be repaired with powerups you find. between levels you can select a couple different weapon configurations. the boss battles are hard but are doable. the whole game is easy compared to other shooters I've played like Robo Aleste but hard enough to be challenging. all in all a very good game that's worth buying.
