Worth a read
I read this book years ago. Had already bought it for myself to reread, it's that interesting, when I decided to purchase another copy for my grandson. We are doing our own bookclub during Covid lockdown. He is 15, having a bit of difficulty with the old English and vocabulary, but we have great discussions.

Great single source answer to the question, why Western Europe?
2 of 2 found this helpful Love this book. I have literally bought dozens to give away. I have traveled to many remote locations on Earth, spent time with indigenous people, most notably a cargo cult in Vanuatu. They want to know the answer to the question why did weastern Europeans concur?

Some interesting
There are several interesting recipes in this book. Small and quality is a little lacking, not a picture book. But good value.
