Excellent Detail and Craftsmanship

The detail is stunning! The decals and paint are accurate and flawless and the smallest, often overlooked details lacking is lesser grade models like the F-1 outriggers and the BPC (boost protection cover) are all there. This is definitely for much more mature enthusiasts, not young children. The model can be displayed in a couple of different configurations ranging from the "all-up" assembled model, where stages are secured together with bayonet mounts to an exploded view showing the various stages themselves. The kit comes with display stands for both options and a smaller one to display the LEM and CSM docked in flight. There is even a second LEM descent stage; one foldable for display in the SLA and another for either a lunar surface display or a docked configuration with the CSM. One improvement I could suggest is the inclusion of a second ascent stage for the LEM; there is only the one and you would need to choose how you would like to display it. There is even a lunar surface pad included with the kit. This is a must have for any Apollo era space enthusiast looking for that perfect centerpiece for their display.
