Reviewed very much from a personal perspective
I bought this book as a gift for my mum, she knew about it and had been looking for it for some time. In it there is a piece and a photo of her grandfather, my great grandfather, so as well as being historically very interesting, it was also of great personal importance and boy did it deliver.
Factual, interesting, lots of photographs and pictures, arrived in lightning quick time and really well packed. Nothing negative to say, if you have an interest in our military history buy this book, you never know, you may find a family gem in there too.

Eyup, it's grand
Truly a Yorkshire saying, worth buying for the novelty effect, but for me, it is something my old dad used to say often as then did my own son who could recite it from being little. This is a gift for my son and well worth the money, and the smile when he saw it. A good quality product, well made, arrived well packaged, reet grand job for a true Yorkshire lad (or lass). Champion!
