3.5 In Internal PCI-E PCI Express USB 3.0 HUB Card Reader SD SDHC MMS XD M2 CF

Works BUT....................
I had no problems installing or using this item. The USB ports work as advertised. I was only able to test the SD card slot as I do not have other cards. The SD card slot worked properly.
Now...here is the "BUT" in my title. After I installed it and booted my computer for the first time, I thought it was broken or that perhaps I inadvertently disconnected something. During bootup, my PC hung at the point where it attempted to recognize and configure this expansion port. I waited several minutes. Nothing. I finally gave up and turned the power off, then back on. Same thing. IT hung when it tried to find/configure this expansion port. I walked away for awhile and came back to find that my PC had finally booted properly...and this item then functioned properly.
Every time I turn my computer on, the same thing happens. It hangs at the point where it is trying to identify this port, then several minutes later, everything is fine. MY PC used to take maybe 10 or 20 seconds to boot to the login screen (Windows 10). Now, it takes several minutes.
Bottom line, I am returning this. The lengthy boot time is very very annoying and I am tired of waiting for my PC to boot. I own a reasonably fast newer PC. I bought to work faster, not wait for it to boot.
