Works but too expensive.
Too expensive for a block heater cord. The in line thermostat must be what causes the expense. I would prefer the old fashioned cord that would heat the engine block whenever it was plugged in. This is set so it doesn't turn on unless the temp hits -15C. I'd like it to come on at a little higher temp like -5 or even 0C. No options as it appears there is no universal cord you can use in the GMC/Chevy trucks.
