Enduring 80s classic
Seen this on dvd many years which prompted me the buy blu ray version. was a decent carpenter film at the time, different contrast to some he made over past years. Uncommon style movie with fun cracks, rowdy piper a drifter apart from some locals,exposes and uncovers a Alien invasion by some hi tech sunglasses completely oblivious to many civilians in public don't know there true identity because of a hidden signal device. Some fine action set pieces little over the top. Ending was peculiar has left it open for a sequel which didn't occur worth a watch

a relishing watching enjoyment
Arrived in good schedule before expected time. Drawn towards these scenic railways journeys as caught my eye watching a other similiar episodes to this on tv. Taken back by some of the footage shown,well presented by james coburn telling the basic way of life alaskans occupy by depending on the railroad to commute around,also informative coverage about traditions,history and culture expressed by the people,landscapes breathtaking scenery,mount mckinley centrepiece as many tourists visit all around world pieceful frontline spirits and inspiring wilderness just enticing you to visit that would be once in lifetime great experience. drawback is not much footage of rail.
