Best budget wire stripper!
2 of 2 found this helpful I was sceptical at first when purchasing this, because I had a lot of copper to strip ranging from 12awg to 1" thick copper cable. WOW was I amazed at this little stripper! I actually found that the bigger the wire, the easier it is to strip. Thought I was gonna have to cut pieces into 6 foot strips, NOPE. 60 foot lengths of 3/8 copper wire! Ripped right through it! This thing paid for itself in two hours. I foundit easier to not use the feeder plates, and just hold the wire. If you hold just a little tension on the wire as it pulls, you can steer the wire as it's pulling it through so the blade is always centered. The blade can be sharpened, and replacements are available on eBay as well. Stripped $1000 worth of copper in one day, no complaints whatsoever. P.s. electrical tape will clog the feeder wheels and cause it to slip and not feed the wire through, so keep a steel brush around to clean the wheels.
