An important work on an under appreciated jazz giant!
Very detailed history, including discography- it is a great tribute to a musician who, in my estimation, is a grossly under appreciated giant of jazz. Not many other books on Dolphy, so this is special.

Classic Literature
Although based mostly in Chicago and in Jewish family experience these stories are strongly
evocative of our human dilemmas- aging, death, family, etc. The writing is so excellent and the
humorous expressions and observations make this - in my humble opinion a true literary classic.
