Horrifying

I have enjoyed all of the books in this series up to this one. This book should be relabeled under the horror genre. To give the author the benefit here I purchased the next book and hoped to see a return to sanity. I was sorely disappointed. The beginning of the book was so disjointed and filled with Betsy's unbearable whining that I had to stop reading in the middle of the first chapter. I have truly enjoyed this author's books including the Swimming with the Fish series. I am done with this one, I had ordered the others after this one before I read it, and will be donating to the Goodwill.
