Bottom line would be Buy these you can crank up/or run em low for years!
3 of 4 found this helpful So the reason behind this upgrade was the fact 2 subs sound better then one. The only thing i can say is bad or i disliked was the box is sealed. They do hit hard and loud on low/high depending on your amp setup. Mtx is one of the best cheaper set ups you can buy i have sold about 5-6 sets Straight from my TRUNK that's how impressed people get with these subs! The fact that i do not install or do any audio for a living shows that there Easy to set up Easy to up keep Easy to sell!
I don't even want to sell em when asked but i know i can buy another set the same subs every time and get huge results!

Big bang for the buck~!
Want more power? This is the biggest bang for the buck!!!! It's features are to put simple straight power when you want it! The only thing that is a con to me is the size its twice the size of other amps of similar type. The quality is awesome for this price. There is a reason this thing was msrp a few years back at 499.99.

Mid level rtr scale crawling Fun!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful The fact this thing comes Rtr is awesome but pair that up with a decent drag brake very good tires it is the whole bang for your buck! With stunning attention to detail with the way the body is made and the fact it is a 1972 chevy truck is just the tip of the iceberg, Now lets do a pros and cons and basic what this truck accels at and driver level for maximuim use.
Pros
1. esc is great one feature that stands out is the drag break
2. real looking Licensed Super Swamper TSL SX tires i mean if you want to scale rig it up and want to start fresh you cannot go wrong with this truck
3. the suspension is made up Multi-Link Solid Axle which gives you scale looks and the functionality and articulation needed to climb that rocky pass or transverse over a root on a path
4. Spektrum DX2E 2 Channel it speaks for itself how great it is very good radio
5. the last pro(s) are gonna be a grouping of things we take for granted when we buy scale trucks
and that is the Steel Ladder Frame i mean for years i ran plastic chassised trucks an having them break a steel system is just a good standard to have the next part is in regards to the axles and that is they are locked no open diff getting stuck here its pure 4wd action thats the biggest selling point to me.
So we did some pro(s) for this truck overall it is awesome and a very good truck but as far as driver level is concerned. This truck i would not recomend for kids under 10 because it is a bit top heavy. With that being said lets get on to the CONS list.
Cons
1. Not real looking rims sure there shiny most won't care but if you are gonna throw on some Licensed Super Swamper TSL SX you might consider some cepeks or some off brand wheel!
2. motor that comes with it is lacking in torque but in this hobby taking it apart upgrading swapping out to your pref is part of the fun of the hobby so this could be a pro to depends how you see it
3. the color choice on the '72 chevy i mean it speaks for itself Yellow really :/
4. tranny clearance hangs up everywhere i personally do not mind but its very noted everywhere and mods are done to pull it up in the frame rails to have a better crawl
5. axle hang up many will know having bought other scalers or even other vaterras
6.48 pitch gears its ok for me but can be a pain later when you are adding power they tend to strip
All in All this truck is great priced a fun drive an a great present for getting your kids out doors and active!
My daughter loves this truck i mean we went from hanging out playing video games getting bored an going for a walk. After awhile walking for fun is not to fun! So i decided we needed something to do while we go exercise mildly and thats where the vaterra came in. The truck is rtr so you can throw batteries in the truck remote ones are included and go for about 45 minutes it is a good walking pace speedwise. The biggest selling point was the fact it got us outside doing this and the family time we get from it i do not think there is many other hobbies that give you and your kids the same love back you put time in the truck its gonna give it back x10 in pure entertainment value!
