The best 3rd party alternative
1 of 1 found this helpful I've owned this lens previously and used it for Weddings and Landscape .It's built like a tank ...until you drop in a river like I did .I've owned 3 copies of the Canon 17-40L and one 16-35 f2.8L and sharpness wide open and at 16mm is exceptional . At f11 and above the sun renders a fantastic starburst and at F2.8 for first dance shots and Brides walking up the aisle in low light this is very sharp ..Its built like tank and yes it's heavy but reassuringly so ..I am buying this product again .The only down side is the lack of filter attachment at the front but if your smart and your a landscaper ..you can adapt the hood .Excellent fast wide angle that out performs Canon's sides up to the 16-35 F2.8 ii

Small and cheap
An average product ..the box is tiny and 50% of the contents are useless in today's fishing environment ..nice try but disappointed
