Where have these been all my life?
I have tried just about every type of earplugs available on the market (I am a bad sleeper who shares a bed with a heavy snorer) and these are the best so far. The unusual round shape really helps get an airtight seal, and the material is dense enough to block out most (not all, that would take a miracle) of the loud snoring and pretty much any other sounds. I can just about hear my alarm in the morning.
In my opinion these are superior to bullet-shaped foam earplugs which are generally too lightweight for the job and whose shape doesn't seem to work for me. I also prefer them to wax or silicone ones which work very well but make my ears sweat. But their main quality is that the seal never 'pops' like it sometimes does with mouldable earplugs, causing me to wake up from the noise and have to reshape and reinsert the things several times during the night so I can go back to sleep. Once these are in, they don't move even though I sleep on my side and move quite a bit.
I had to cut off almost all of the blue stems or they would have stuck out of my ears and pushed into the pillow. This causes no problems putting the earplugs in or taking them out though.
They are also quite long-lasting; I have been using the same pair every night for three weeks and they're still good as new and not deformed at all. Once I have worked my way through all five pairs, I will definitely buy more.
