Works right from the box.

My phone boots up immediately even though the new battery has only 50% charge left. Hope this will last longer than the previous one which only worked for a year.

Good extender with easy setup.

Easy to setup. Just connect to a laptop, disable the laptop WiFi, launch a browser, login and follow the instructions. Range is appropriate, about 25 ft. from router upstairs and covers whole house of about 3000 sq. ft.
