stopped working right after 1 year

I've had this charger for 1 year and 1 month and it's already not working properly. I have to bend the top of the cord closest to the USB-c port at an awkward angle and manage to leave it unmoved in order for it to charge my device. There's no reason for it to stop working properly in only a year's time.
