Very basic
This is about as simple a window fan as you can get. There are no extra features like reversible blades; it sucks air in and will not exhaust unless you physically turn the entire unit around. It is a window fan and nothing more. There are no feet so that it won't stand up on its own. I was able to take the packing material from the shipping box and use the corner pieces to improvise feet, but the unit is designed to sit in a window. I purchased two and they are stackable with no problem. The twin blades move a fair amount of air, but you have to run them both, you cannot turn one blade off. There is a high pitched whine when the blades run at the high speed, I don't find it irritating, but others might, especially if you spend a lot of time sitting in the same room as the fan. All things considered, it is a good value, but there are other dual fans which offer a lot more features, including feet and reversible blades, for only a bit more money.

Lightweight and simple to use
Light duty, but it's perfect for a home office. Setup is as simple as placing the shredder-head inside the waste backet, plugging it in, and then putting it to work. Keep in mind that it is noisy.

Effective and convinient
2 of 2 found this helpful I have four of these, one for each gun safe, and they do a very good job of fighting the Florida humidity. When placed inside a full sized safe each unit is effective for 3-4 weeks. Naturally each time you open the safe door it lets in humidity, so the more you open the door to the safe the more you need to recharge/regenerate the unit. It takes about 12 hours to fully regenerate the unit and gets rather hot while it is plugged in. I find these plug-in units more convenient than the metal canisters of desiccant which have to be baked in the oven to regenerate.
