Fascinating Writing
Fascinating tale of some really boring and painstaking research that led to two new authentications of Caravaggio, an artist I have always underrated, but no more. It was about 100 degrees in the Uffizzi exhibition of Caravaggio a couple years ago in Florence, and I literally ran through it before I suffocated---and always I regret what might have been the top Caravaggio show of my generation! This book has pacified me a little, and I recommend it to art history buffs or mystery enthusiasts. Also, check out the rest of this author's work.
