Good show for fun. Transfers a bit iffy, but not a lot of alternatives.
This is a very entertaining show. It has the elements of nostalgia to get you watching, then it turns you on to the characters and where they are going. You find yourself wanting to know what happens next, even though sometimes you want to yell "don't do that". The plots sometimes are predictable, but that is what makes it light and entertaining. The box set is pretty cool, since finding the individual seasons is hard to do, and pricey too. However, I would wonder if anyone else had digital transfer issues with the last 3 seasons, because I had a couple random discs that barely would play.

Limited competition
The orange indicators really pop in color. And there aren’t a lot of choices for 1:18 scale Stargates to begin with. My only two detractors are the lack of the Earth gliph (Alpha-ish symbol) and the uneven almost warped appearance of the interior ring thickness .... in one part it tapers to less than half the thickness of the rest. Not for the perfectionist or OCD inclined.
