1 of 1 found this helpful Very entertaining seeing “Western Civilization” viewed through the eyes of the San People of the Kalahari Dersert, Southern Africa. In the late 1970’s I spent many years prospecting in the Kalahari Desert. During this time I was lucky enough to have some interaction with the extraordinary San in Namibia, Botswana and Southern Africa. Unfortunately away from the Movie screen the interaction between so called civilization and the San has been a disaster for the latter. The Botswana experience has been particularly disastrous and the Botswana Government is soley to blame for it’s terrible treatment of it’s only aboriginals (from the beginning), the beautiful San. This treatment will eventually lead to the extermination of these incredible people. Shame on you Botswana!
