Wish Judy Kerr would update this book. Ten Years since the last update!
1 of 1 found this helpful I used to be one of her students. She taught out of her home in the old days, and we worked on camera, as well as her Cable program in the early Nineties. In those days, she would hand out typed pages of good information for us to use,a s well as some "no-goes". That's how this book was born. That was a loong time ago.
In spite of being years out of date, this is still a mostly worthwhile book of information, if you live is a little farming town wanting to see L.A. as a tourist. Not much help as a working actor today, but still interesting. Most of the restaurants, agents, acting classes, photographers, casting directors, and resume information are waaay out of date, and folks mentioned have long since disappeared.
IF she would take the time to do an update, it would be an entirely different compilation of how like is today .
I would love to see that!

Eat Great.. and You Do!! The Best Food Plan Ever!
1 of 1 found this helpful This is one of Suzanne Somers first "Somersize" books written in 1996. It's easy and fun to read, with lots of beautiful photos and clever drawings by her step daughter, Leslie Hamel. The simple directions make following her way of eating a piece of cake! Sorry, couldn't resist! In fact, on the last page of her delicious recipes is the mouthwatering "Decadent Chocolate Cake"! Suzanne divides her eating plan into two different levels, Level One for losing pounds quickly, and Level Two, for maintaining the wonderful results you are bound to see in your mirror. Recipes include, Flourless Cheese Souffle, Whole Wheat Pizza, Citrus Marinated Barbequed Shrimp, Roasted Herbes de Provance Chicken. Desserts are also quite extravagant, like Chocolate Souffle with Whipped Cream and Hot Chocolate Sauce! Wow! I've lost 30 pounds on this eating plan, and it was very simple to follow, even at work! A big thumbs up for this book! You go, Suzanne!

Fast and Easy is just like it says!
What a great cookbook, Suzanne Somers has really hit the nail on the head with this one! I have lost over 30 POUNDS using her recipes out of her various cookbooks. This is the best one, reforming everyday food and fast foods so anyone can eat this way and lose (in my case) vast amounts of weight. Thousands of people have sworn by this way of eating (not a diet) Somersizing, as she calls it, has grown into a multi-million a year business because, like I said earlier, it simply WORKS.
