From the Skies of Paradise - Cook, Peebles
Having just returned from a trip to Hawaii which included a week in Kauai we wanted to buy this book. It was one of the coffee table books in the condo where we stayed. While there we took a helicopter ride over the island; this book best shows the scenery and colors of Kauai we could not capture with our digital camera.

May Evening at the Toledo Art Museum
We heard the Songs of Travel performed in the great gallery of the Toledo (Ohio) Art Museum one evening in May. We know the young lady who played the piano, a graduate student in music performance. It is a lovely collection of songs with piano accompaniment, sung by a baritone singer. If you enjoy the music of Ralph Vaughan Williams, you will like this CD.
