Essential second charger for your spare battery
I've had the Grass Hog for 6 years and kept both batteries constantly charged. The second was being charged by a DIY charger. I decided to purchase a second HPB18 to make the hookup easier. It is important that after the battery cools down from use to charge and keep it charged. Never let them sit discharged for an extended period of time, that is when they start to fail. After 6 years the batteries are still running strong.
A second charger is highly recommended.

Better than expected
My one concern was the fit of the battery cover. I was very impressed on how precise the cover snapped in. The outer case was a bit flimsy around the buttons but the battery cover more than made up for that. It was for my wife who would lament the short battery life of the original. She kept it on battery after a full charge and only dropped 4% in 12 hours.

It works well
Works as it should. Installed with the included driver CD for Windows 7 64 bit and was a good price.
