SeaFlo High Pressure Diaphragm Water Pump 12V 60PSI 5GPM for Caravan Marine Boat
18 May 2016
Daily Use for Professional Pest Control
The value of this pump is exceptional. It delivers the same as pumps twice the price. I have had many 12 volt on demand pumps and this one is well worth the money. I lift water from about 3 feet out of a tank and push it through 100 meters of 3/8" hose. This pump delivers a gallon in 45 seconds at the end of the hose. The screen strainer is worth $8 to $12 bucks and helps to protect your investment in the pump. Another plus is the wings connections supplied with the pump which makes contections a breeze. I used it for 3 weeks and ordered another to keep in stock. At this price, I can afford to have one on the shelf as a spare.
Oneida Molded DIY Dust Deputy Cyclone

Simple design and fantastic results
I own a couple of heavy duty Wet/Dry vacs. The filters at Home Depot run about $36 each. I found this cyclone called the Dust Deputy which fits in front of the vac and forces the dust and dirt into a bucket. This is amazing to see it work. Sucked up a bunch of saw dust around my shop and only a small amount went into the vac. Sucked up about 30 lbs of sand that was scattered around and none of the sand went into the vac. Works wonderfully well on heavy stuff like bolts and washers, works great sucking up water. It is a little expensive for nothing more than plastic but it will pay for itself because you won't be buying as many filter replacements. Plus you won't have to clean a clogged filter so often. It's more clumsy to handle because you have two containers to handle. But if you are like I am, having a vac that runs at full throttle all the time is well worth the small inconvenience of having to keep up with the bucket.
