Good kit for a must-do maintenance
1 of 1 found this helpful I changed the seals on my E46 330Ci at 91000 miles and I have to say, I should've done it sooner. Rocker cover gasket and gasket around the coils completely degraded into brittle plastic state and allowed for oil leaking into 3 coil chambers and seep out from under the rocker cover onto heat shield. New VANOS seals made the car perceptibly more responsive at low end.
X8R product is worth every penny - OEM quality replacement parts and a very good guide to replace them. I am a suit rat with no mechanical experience and was still able to do the job myself following the guide.

If you are not allergic, latex is the way to go.
I use these gloves for house and car DIY. If you are not allergic to it, latex is the way to go. Nitrile may be the next best thing, but it doesn't have the flexibility of latex and every small tear spreads at the slightest pull.
